Changing the Narrative

Don't let Mayor Coinflip change the narrative. I join most of the world in shrugging my shoulders at the assassination of Kirk by a far right assassin programmed by Groyper and Nick Fuentes. And despite what the mayor thinks, that's not illegal.
This is once again about our mayor and his inability to be a decent human being. He’s trying to re-frame the narrative, so let’s bring it back to reality. Defending against his made up bullshit is not possible, so I’m going to try to remind folks of the facts.
The mayor has spent the last two years policing everything we do. From telling us that we couldn’t go to drag shows, to suing our favorite eatery in the hopes they would have to shut down, the mayor has been all over our freedoms. Hell, at one point he was trying to dictate that men had to dress like men and women had to dress like women. What does that even mean? Long haired men will be arrested? Get the fuck out of here.
Now, in his largest overreach, the mayor is telling us how to feel. Charlie Kirk is dead. You can take to social media, make an 8-minute video crying about the wrong demographic being violent, you can not care, and yes, you are allowed to smile at the fact that his hatred and propaganda have come to an end.
You are allowed to feel however you want. The mayor doesn’t think that. They can arrest me when I don’t attend the mandatory memorial he’s probably planning on having.
One of our friends, and friend to the entire community, Parron Baxter said that he would not mourn the death of a white supremacist. A stance many people, including myself, agrees with. Within hours of Kirk’s death, our mayor put out an 8-minute video decrying the violent left LONG before a shooter or motive was found out. I don’t expect an 8-minute apology video now that that narrative has blown up. But, back to Parron. Not shedding a tear for MAGA’s Joseph Goebbels is kind of the default setting. Our mayor accused Parron of celebrating Kirk’s death, which wasn’t true. But just to be clear, if anyone out there is feeling joy at the man who demonized Bla
ck people and the LGBTQ community, that’s still not illegal!
Continuing on. The mayor has lied about people “celebrating” Kirk’s death and Burns’ claims that people are advocating for his own death. I’ll save you some worrying, sweetie. Nobody wants to kill you. Nobody. You’re not big enough, you’re not powerful enough, and your political reign will end soon. Hopefully even sooner now that you’ve gone full stupid and dug a hole you can’t climb out of.
What the mayor has done, as the de facto hate group leader of Union County, is sent thousands of unhinged white supremacists after Parron, doxxing a citizen…as mayor of Monroe. As the mayor of our city, he is usurping his power to attack the free speech of a citizen. Mayor Free Speech only loves people talking freely when he gets to see people using the N-word on Twitter.
Let’s get down to it. This is a performance by the mayor. Nothing more. He sheds no tears for Charlie Kirk, but as a political opportunist he needs to put on a show. His first show, just blaming all lefties in general, was “meh”, in my opinion. The tears were forced, the acting bad, and the content wasn’t original in the least. Do I think he’ll use that video as his audition tape to FoxNews or NewsMax after he loses the mayoral primary? I certainly hope so!
The mayor jumped to conclusions on whom the shooter was because he knows his idiot followers will twist everything anyway. If you haven’t kept up, the new narrative (since it’s not a dark-skinned trans woman in drag trying to run track at the college) is that this right-wing 22-year-old follower of Nick Fuentes was radicalized by…his one semester of college. But I digress.
The mayor had to shift the anger of his klan to keep them angry. Their anger keeps them blind to the world around them. Farms are failing, South Korea may be shutting down $350b in investments, Russia is now attacking Poland, another school shooting, and the president is still hiding the Epstein files. So no. This is nothing more than a distraction, and the white-supremacists trying to get everyone fired are busy doing that instead of paying attention to that Epstein list that they cared about a year ago.
You can’t argue against a lie. So stop trying. Stay on message. Our mayor thinks that he has the authority to control people’s thoughts, speech, and emotions. And if you don’t agree with him, he’ll send his army of idiots after you. This is how they divide the intelligent folks. We are now debating within ourselves whether it’s ok to celebrate someone’s death and ignoring the real issues. This distraction is working on his own folks as well as the majority of the citizens who don’t agree with his white supremacy philosophy.
On December 7th, a 12-year-old child was shot in Monroe. Go check his Twitter feed to see the outrage he felt then. Check to see his 8-minute video crying about the life of a child being taken in the city that he presides over. Check to see him doxxing all the citizens that didn’t “appropriately mourn” because the child was Black and “probably a criminal”. A CHILD!
Write the Monroe City Council, and don’t forget the city manager and city attorney. Please tell them that they have allowed this coin flipper experiment to go on long enough. The lawsuits that will come from Monroe’s citizens will far outweigh the cost of his removal. rburns@monroenc.org santhony@monroenc.org ganderson@monroenc.org ddotson@monroenc.org jkerr@monroenc.org fmcgee@monroenc.org jthompson@monroenc.org rlong@monroenc.org mwatson@monroenc.org
